Headaches are defined as pain anywhere in the region of the head or neck. It occurs as migraines, tension-type headaches or cluster headaches, which are all considered headaches but each have specific qualities in diagnosis. Headaches can cause long-term damage mentally and physically, and can easily affect day-to-day life. About half of adults experience headaches at least every year, with tension headaches being the most prevalent.
Headaches can cause debilitating symptoms:
Headaches are something that many people deal with, but it is not a necessary part of life. As tension increases, headaches can get worse and become chronic. Headaches commonly occur when spinal bones in the neck do not support the head properly. This will reduce your ability to turn your head and affect nerves, muscles and even the blood supply to your head.
A subluxation is when one or more of the spinal bones are misaligned into an abnormal position. This causes irritation to the nerve structure and interference in the flow of nerve energy throughout the body. Subluxations can often be the result of stress and bad posture, which is why many people who work at a desk suffer from them.
This also traction to or irritation of the meninges and blood vessels, which give the symptoms of a headache. Blood vessel spasms, dilated blood vessels, inflammation or infection of meninges and muscular tension can also stimulate nociceptors and cause pain. These can be caused by primary issues going on in the body or secondary, such as an ailment like a tumor. Some headaches are difficult to find the primary cause of them, but most of them tie into problems involving the nerves.
Symptoms of headaches are:
- Dull aching pain in head and muscle aches
- Pressure or pain in the front, top or sides of the head
- Chronic fatigue
- Irritability and disturbed concentration
- Sensitivity to light or noise
- Dizziness
- and more…

I have received amazing care from Dr. Sinha! I have Sjogren’s Disease, Fibromyalgia & osteoarthritis, along with disc problems in my cerv & lumbar spine. Dr. Sinha has kept me off the operating table with her amazing treatment. I can’t have the normal cracking that many chiropractors do & I’m so glad that she has so many different treatments in her tool belt. Of course traditional adjustment is available if you need it. love all the staff here!
